If you do, then you probably know that Barkley Lake and Kentucky Lake,  located in beautiful Western Kentucky adjoining the Land Between The Lakes National Park (LBL), offer some of the best Crappie and White Bass (Stripe) fishing to be found anywhere. In Summer and Fall I have a light line, catch what is biting approach that works when bites are hard to come by...and it's fun.

Dan uses a 20 foot Pro Craft with a 200 Yamaha which seats three guests.
And A Good Time Was Had By All!
Dan has been a fishing guide on Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake for over 30 years and specializes in Crappie fishing in the Spring and Fall and White Bass in the Summer and Fall. Some Cat fishing, Shell Cracker,and Bream fishing is available along with smallmouth and largemouth bass much of the year. Dan is located at Lake Barkley State Park Marina near Cadiz KY, just off US 68 and also at Prizer Point Marina on Hurricane Bay 8 miles north of Hwy 68.
Here Is Everything You Need To Know
  • Fish a large area of both lakes
  • Use A Light line "catch what is biting" approach for Crappie, Bass,White Bass, Catfish, Bluegill, and troll when necessary
  • Catfish most all caught on a 10# or lighter line
  • Crappie a variety fishing approach is used as needed
  • Largemouth bring your tackle if possible
  • You bring license, snacks, drinks, rain suit, sunscreen, glasses and camera; dress appropriately for weather
  • A sit down lunch is available at a marina or lodge
Pricing
  • Full Day  $250 (9 hours) 
  • Half Day  $150 (4 1/2 hours)
  • Deposit  $50 full day / $30 for half day
  • 3rd person $25
  • $50 for follow boat
Special Notice
  • Extra charge for gas used over 8 gallons per day
  • Live bait is paid for by Customer
  • Replacement charge for any lost tackle or rods
  • Please no GPS units without permission

  • Over 100 new brush piles made each year located in the 68 Highway area and north to Eddy Creek
  • Some rods and reels available
  • Fish areas as wind and water color allows 
  • Dec - Jan - Feb are 1/2 Price Days
  • 1st weekend in June no license required
  • Military discount $ 25.00 discount for parents of Ft. Campbell son or daughter
